Teachers accumulate lots of stuff ranging from emails, student work, notes from meetings, instructions and guides, ideas from websites, and much more. By using Evernote, a teacher can keep all of these little snippets of information in one place, using familiar organizational tools like notes, folders, and tags. This workshop will focus on using Evernote to curate content from various sources (websites, meeting notes, class notes, emails, etc.), organize them using a system of notes, folders, and tags, and being able to collaborate with colleagues and students using sharing and chat features within Evernote. Participants should bring a device (iPad, Chromebook, or Windows or Mac Laptop) with them to effectively participate in the workshop.

- Explore the various basic features of Evernote, including the sign-up process
- Demonstrate their ability to create a note in Evernote, adding and formatting text, adding pictures, and adding other documents to the note
- Demonstrate the ability to collaborate using notes and sharing notes and "chatting" on the notes
- Demonstrate their ability to organize notes using folders and tags
- Plan ways that they will be able to use Evernote to help them organize digital materials for professional purposes
- Plan ways that they will be able to use Evernote to help them organize digital materials for use with their students

This session will introduce the participants to open educational resources and provide new methods for content curation and delivery in the classroom. Participants will examine applications such as Google Classroom and iTunesU and develop ways to move rich, dynamic content into these platforms. Participants will actively engage with each other and begin curating open educational resources and align it within one of the aforementioned platforms.
